In certain markets (notably futures), when you open a trade, the platform or a large market maker is often your counterparty.
They win when you lose. So if they know you are leveraged at x75, they know you are easy to trap.
Small leveraged traders:
Enter on breakouts without waiting for confirmation
They place stops too close
Use leverage that is too strong
React emotionally (FOMO/panic)
