Trump is just playing with the markets. He made the markets fall sharply so he and his friends could buy heavily at a bargain price.
Now he's suspending everything for 90 days and the markets will all rise and they'll be even more loaded with money. And he must have ordered the finance department to invest heavily in the downturn so that the country will now have a better financial cushion.
As for cryptocurrencies, he launched one token and his wife another. People invested heavily and then, out of nowhere, they sold heavily and it went from $70 to $10. You'll see how much his fortune increased with that. Do a little research.
