China’s Tariff Commission announced it will raise tariffs on certain U.S. imports from 34% to 84%, effective April 10, 2025, at 12:01 PM Beijing time. The move comes in response to the U.S. raising its own tariffs on Chinese goods to the same rate on April 8.
