Attorney James A. Murphy (@MetaLawMan) is suing the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to compel the agency to disclose information regarding the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. He argues that this is very important due to the enormous amounts of public and private investment flowing into Bitcoin, and both he and the public have the right to know who is behind such a significant financial asset.
The lawsuit focuses on documents related to an interview in 2019, in which DHS agent Rana Saoud allegedly stated that she knows the identity of Nakamoto and suggested that four people were involved in the creation of Bitcoin.
