Binance Charity, in collaboration with Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ), is launching a $1.5 million airdrop to support victims of the recent devastating earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand. The initiative aims to distribute BNB tokens to Binance and Binance TH users who live in the affected areas.

The airdrop will be based on users' KYC (identity verification) and POA (proof of address) details submitted before March 31, 2025. Eligible users in Myanmar will receive $5 in BNB, while those in the most impacted areas will receive $50 in BNB. In Thailand, Binance TH users who have completed KYC will receive $5, with those from the most affected areas receiving $10 in BNB.

Changpeng Zhao pledged 500 BNB each to Myanmar and Thailand, underscoring the urgent need for financial support during this crisis. Binance CEO Richard Teng expressed his condolences to the victims and emphasized the company's commitment to helping those in need.

The funds are expected to reach eligible users by April 14, 2025. Binance Charity has previously supported disaster relief efforts in countries like Spain, Turkey, and Argentina, demonstrating its ongoing dedication to humanitarian causes.
