$XRP Just to get some things straight because I’m seeing a lot of misinformation going around about XRP from people whom just don’t understand it.
1) They think that because Xrp ‘only’ did a 10x last cycle that it’s not going to perform this cycle, even though it already has performed magnificently. It is literally one of the top performers and has significantly outperformed btc since November. People have a short memory, Xrp was heavily suppressed by a corrupt SEC last cycle and that’s not even a secret, all you have to do is read(reading is good for you, don’t be scared). Everyone expecting it to crash back to October’s prices are wrong for the foreseeable future, Xrp is clearly showing a lot of strength at current levels.
2) RLUSD will replace XRP - this is actually the most idiotic statement I’ve heard surrounding Xrp. Do you even understand how the ledger works? Everything that moves across the ledger uses XRP as the gas token, it is wrapped in XRP. XRP is central to the ledger, this should be common sense in the blockchain world. Can RLUSD operate independently of XRP? Yes, it can move across another blockchain independently but it can’t move without a blockchain and Xrp is the chosen blockchain for ripple’s payment solutions.
3) The market cap and supply - the misinformation is coming from both sides here. For every speculative bull run thus far, supply and marketcap have been deterministic. The only time that will change is through utility. Up until now, ripple’s solutions haven’t been utilized en masse largely due to being hindered by the SEC for 4 years. The damage this has done has been vastly underestimated but it will be legally over once Torres lifts the injunction on institutional sales which is close at hand, less than 2 months away, could be over as soon as later this month. This opens the floodgates for US adoption. Ripple’s payment solutions are being integrated into swift as we speak and will be fully operational by the end of the year, this will spark a utility run in my opinion and this is where things will get interesting as swift moves approximately $5 trillion per day. The price of XRP will be determined by how much money it has to move daily and how much XRP is available for ODL. Hundreds of billions(if it captures that) cannot be moved with Xrp at current prices, it is not possible. I can’t tell you what the top of such a utility run will be but I can assure you that it’s much higher than current prices. Is it a risk to hold into crypto winter next year? Absolutely but one that may very well be worth it. DYOR and sue diligence and know what you hold. There are people out here who think Xrp will reach 1-10k in short order and they are simply wrong. I wish that were the case but it’s not, it would require a fundamental change.
4) Bitcoin - people on this team generally don’t understand blockchain and only bought Bitcoin 2 years ago while calling it a scam for a decade prior. In general, they are airheads who only understand price go up or price go down. They genuinely think that this outdated blockchain is going to be central to the financial system which replaces fiat, this is laughable. Btc is Slow, costly and inefficient. You could choose almost any other blockchain as a more viable solution to the Fiat problem. Personally, I think XRP and XLM will be central but there are other notable blockchains which can also capture a share of the market like algorand, hbar and other ISO20022 compliant tokens. Prices on these tokens at present do not reflect their future worth 10 years from now, I can guarantee you that. In the 2030s people will wish they bought these tokens at current prices. Hbar is genuinely underrated, I remember calling a 10x on it when it was 5cent and everyone laughed at me then bought in at higher prices(this is why no one will remember your name).
With that being said, price movements and fluctuations happen. We go through bull and bear cycles. Who wins in the end? Protip: 95% of traders lose money long term and only 50% of holders do. Choose your side, I prefer to know what I hold and hold it dearly but for the love of god, if your coin has done a high multiplier, take some profits. Last bull run ended in May, it’s possible we get a supercycle(but not guaranteed). Hedge your bets and good luck to all 🫡. By the way I’m not dissing Bitcoin, it was an innovation in its day and paved the way for all of the blockchains we see today. I respect the hell out of people who saw this in advance, just not these airheads who only bought in two years ago and at present it is outdated and overvalued, I’m just stating facts.
