ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE PREPARATION FOR GLOBAL KYC 1.6
The project team sent this announcement to the Rubimily miners community. This is an announcement about the implementation of KYC 1.6 with some notes about the current KYC 1.5.
CURRENT KYC ISSUE
Hello! If you remember KYC 2.0, unfortunately, we cannot announce anything about the deployment schedule for KYC 2.0 with a global authentication mechanism. The main reason is that KYC 2.0 charges fees based on MnA, because the Mana A token is not ready, KYC 2.0 still cannot be deployed!
But another problem is that in the last few weeks, the RUBI Network suddenly became one of the top 20 applications in many rankings, so KYC requirements skyrocketed. Our KYC team of 14 people is always overwhelmed and still has a backlog of tens of thousands of unresolved KYC accounts.
In this situation, increasing productivity is mandatory, while KYC 2.0 still cannot be implemented, so we need to find a solution. We are discussing solutions to this situation and decided to improve KYC performance with an update we call KYC 1.6. In this update, there will be several improvements focused on increasing the efficiency of the number of verifiers, thus handling a large volume of KYC requests.
KYC 1.6 TIMELINE
We will start building the KYC solution from March 25 as a priority. The construction process should take 60 to 90 days, with the goal of launching a global KYC solution. And here is the provisional timeline.
Step 1 • Discuss the implementation rules of KYC 1.6
Step 2 • Proceed with the construction (from March 25 to June 25)
Step 3 • Announce and guide on the recruitment of authenticators (expected by May 25)
Step 4 • KYC process training via Zoom / Google Meet
Step 5 • Implementation of KYC 1.6 by the end of June
