Trump imposes heavy tariffs on poor countries, imposes 29 percent tariff on Pakistan -

US President Donald Trump announced the imposition of retaliatory tariffs on various countries of the world.

US President Trump signed the executive order for retaliatory tariffs at the White House and said in his speech that the implementation of retaliatory tariffs will be good for America, today is one of the important days in American history.

He said that today is the day of our economic freedom, we will use the money from the tariffs to pay off our debts, American citizens have been sidelined for years, other nations have become powerful, now it is America's turn to prosper and imposing additional tariffs will lead to strong competition and lower prices of goods, we will use this money to reduce our taxes -

He said that an additional 20 percent tariff will be imposed on the European Union, 34 percent on China and 24 percent on Japan, while 26 percent on India, 17 percent on Israel and 10 percent on the United Kingdom will be imposed.

The US President said that Pakistan charges us 58 percent tariff, Pakistan will be imposed 29 percent tariff, while Bangladesh will be imposed 37 percent tariff.

The US President announced to impose 10 percent tariff on Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Afghanistan.

Vietnam was imposed 46 percent, Taiwan 32 percent, South Korea 25 percent, Thailand 36 percent, Switzerland 31 percent, Indonesia 32 percent and Malaysia 24 percent retaliatory tariff, while Cambodia 49 percent, South Africa 30 percent, Brazil and Singapore 10 percent and 10 percent tariff.
