Hacker loses $5.4 million in stolen ETH to another thief
A thief with ID #Hacker who stole 2,930 ETH ($5.4 million) from zkLend ended up scamming himself. While trying to launder the stolen money through Tornado Cash, he accidentally used a phishing site—and lost everything.
In his final desperate message, he #admitted he had failed:
"Hello, I tried to transfer the money to Tornado but I used a phishing site, and all the money is lost. I am heartbroken. I truly apologize for all the damage and loss caused. Please redirect your efforts to those website owners to see if you can recover some of the funds. This will be my last message. It’s best to end everything. Once again, I apologize."
A classic case of instant justice—a thief being scammed by another thief.
