According to BlockBeats, over 60 cryptocurrency hacking incidents occurred in the first quarter of 2025, resulting in total losses of $1.63 billion. This marks a 131% increase compared to the $706 million lost in the first quarter of 2024.
In March 2025 alone, there were 20 hacking incidents, leading to losses of $33.46 million. Among these, a notable $5 million hack affected 1inch, with 90% of the stolen funds now recovered.
