20-millionth Bitcoin has not yet been mined
Over the weekend, Bitbo displayed a mark of 20 million BTC, but this turned out to be incorrect. According to Jameson Lopp, the service uses its own calculations, not data from a full node.
✅ In fact, there are currently about 19.84 million BTC in circulation, and it will take about another year to reach the actual 20-millionth block.
⛏️ About 1.15 million Bitcoins remain to be mined — this is the final stage before the complete depletion of issuance.
