Ahead of Paul Atkins' confirmation hearing, anti-crypto Senator Elizabeth Warren expressed concern about the $6M crypto asset and his previous advisory role potentially posing a serious conflict of interest.

Ms. Warren requested that if appointed, Mr. Atkins must recuse himself from all SEC decisions related to former clients and commit to not being involved in any crypto projects overseen by the SEC for at least 4 years after leaving office.
