Ethereum developers are working hard to address issues with the Pectra upgrade, which faced unexpected delays. Initially set for a March mainnet launch, Pectra encountered problems on the Holesky testnet and later on Sepolia, where an unknown attacker disrupted operations. To ensure a smoother rollout, developers launched a new testnet, Hoodi, on March 17, with plans to test Pectra on March 26. If successful, the upgrade could reach the mainnet by April 25. Despite challenges, Ethereum's development remains strong, with recent upgrades reducing gas fees significantly.
