Today I deleted the MetaMask wallet, and I will never use it again.
Since it upgraded and lost its features, I have to wait 10 seconds for every click. I am fed up with wasting my life, damn it @LineaBuild.
The threshold for newcomers in the crypto world is not low, so let me take this opportunity to introduce wallets.
1⃣ Choosing a Wallet
I migrated my wallet address to @rainbowdotme, @wallet, and @zerion. These three are currently mainstream EVM wallets, which basically cover the entire chain and meet basic airdrop interaction needs.
If you interact with SOL, I recommend @phantom and @Backpack_CN, but the downside is that they do not have the complete EVM chains like the wallets mentioned above.
🔸 Security Note: Be cautious when downloading wallets. Always enter the official website through their official Twitter; never use Google search to download, and definitely do not use the wallet that comes with your fingerprint browser!
2⃣ Wallet Import
When migrating from an old wallet, make sure to copy the private key on a Windows computer, then press Win + V to open the clipboard, and click 'Clear All.' Remember this!
If you create a new wallet, never take a screenshot to save it. You must write down the mnemonic phrase on paper. Remember this!
3⃣ Advantages of Wallets
Both OKX @wallet and @zerion come with an automatic chain-switching feature, so you don't have to manually switch chains, which greatly saves time and life.
✅ Summary Currently, only the stupid MetaMask still requires manual refreshing to import mainstream tokens. These so-called security measures are really foolish.
MetaMask is the first wallet I used, starting from 2022. At that time, I thought this clever little fox turning its head with the mouse was cute, and I looked forward to it issuing tokens and swapping in the wallet, but now using it only brings various troubles and wastes time.
Nothing in this world remains unchanged; the crypto world will abandon a habit without even saying goodbye.
Having discarded MetaMask this time, perhaps before long, it will be Ethereum next.
Best wishes.
