Tech company Google has bought cloud security firm Wiz for $32 billion (Rs 2.7 lakh crore). The company signed a deal with Wiz on Tuesday. This is Google's biggest deal till date.
Under the deal, Wiz will become a part of Google Cloud business. On the purchase, Google said that our cloud security service is already strong. The addition of Wiz will make it even better.
Deal to strengthen AI security
This deal has been done to help prevent the growing cyber threats from Artificial Intelligence (AI). Google's target is to compete with companies like Microsoft and Amazon in the cloud security business. With the help of Wiz, multicloud technology will be further improved.
