Last week, Bitcoin was trading around $82K, but since then, the price has dropped below $77K. Does this change the overall trend? Let’s break it down in today's update.
Since this is a weekly update, we’ll start with the weekly chart.
Bitcoin broke its bullish weekly structure last week, and to keep it simple—until the price reclaims this broken zone, the chart remains bearish. It doesn’t matter how many short-term bounces occur on smaller timeframes; the weekly structure takes time to play out.
Let’s revisit previous bullish breakouts to understand why this breakdown is significant:
BTC $30K Breakout
BTC $70K - $72K Breakout
Since the $16K bottom, Bitcoin had two major consolidation phases, both of which broke to the upside, leading to further continuation.
BTC Consolidation Breakdown
This was the third consolidation phase within Bitcoin’s uptrend, but this time, it broke to the downside—the first such breakdown since $16K. That’s why this shift deserves attention.
What’s Next?
The weekly chart is positioned between two key zones. With the price below the broken structure, further downside remains a possibility unless Bitcoin reclaims this level.
It might take days or weeks to fully play out, but the bigger question is whether the trend has officially shifted. Based on the weekly structure, there are only two scenarios:
1. Price reclaims the broken zone → Targets new all-time highs and beyond
2. Price continues lower → Further downside remains likely.
BTC/USD (Daily Outlook)
On the daily chart, Bitcoin is struggling to hold above $85K. As long as the price remains below this level, there’s nothing bullish on the daily timeframe either.
If Bitcoin breaks and holds above $85K, it may trigger some short liquidations, but it won’t change the bigger picture on the high timeframe.

Final Thoughts
That’s it for this week’s Bitcoin update. If anything changes, I’ll keep you posted. My focus remains on the high timeframe structure, and I’ll continue ignoring short-term fluctuations.
I’d love to hear your thoughts—let me know what you think!
