Tariff war increases pessimism among individual investors in the USA 🇺🇸
- The sentiment survey by the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII), recently released, indicated an increase in pessimism among individual investors regarding the short-term performance of stocks in the United States. Meanwhile, both optimism and neutral outlooks on the market have declined.
The bearish sentiment, which reflects expectations of falling stock prices in the next six months, rose to 59.2%, a historically high level, well above the long-term average of 31.0%. This is the first time this indicator has exceeded 57% for three consecutive weeks since the beginning of the historical series of the survey.
