BNB (Build and Build) is the native cryptocurrency of the Binance ecosystem. Initially launched as Binance Coin in 2017, it was first used to pay for trading fees on the Binance exchange. Over time, its use cases expanded to transactions on Binance Smart Chain (BSC), payments, and decentralized applications (DApps). BNB also plays a role in governance, allowing holders to participate in decision-making for Binance-related projects. It is deflationary, with periodic coin burns reducing supply. As one of the top cryptocurrencies, BNB is widely used in DeFi, gaming, and NFTs.
