Ukraine calls for a truce, but Russia responds with bombs
It seems incredible, but just when Ukraine proposed a 30-day ceasefire, Russia launched airstrikes over Kyiv and Kharkiv. Instead of a breather, the war continues to rage.
🔴 What really happened?
🔹 Ukraine extended a hand and asked for a pause in the fighting. This coincided with an important move: the U.S. lifted restrictions on its military aid and on the intelligence it shares with Kyiv.
🔹 The announcement came after high-level meetings in Saudi Arabia, where Ukrainian and American leaders sought ways to reduce tension.
🔹 Donald Trump, for his part, said he hopes Putin will accept the truce. If this happens, it would be the first ceasefire since the invasion began in 2022.
🚨 But instead of a truce… missiles arrived.
🔺 Just a few hours later, alarms sounded in at least ten regions of Ukraine.
🔺 Kyiv's air defense sprang into action against Russian attacks.
🔺 Russian media confirmed bombings in Kharkiv, making it clear that the conflict continues to escalate.
🕊️ Will there be peace or will this get worse?
Although there are attempts at dialogue, the bombs speak louder. Is Russia closing the door to the truce or simply marking its territory before negotiating?
