Fear controls everyone; only the market makers can predict where the market is heading now, not because of their experience but due to their connections with important decision-makers. They decide and send you people who market the news to you, and you buy the news while they simply take your money. You shout, saying so-and-so stated, so-and-so acted, and so-and-so decided. Stay away from all this; study your projects well, work on a strategy for your portfolio, and make sure not to put all your eggs in one basket.
