Opinions please, about 4 months ago I invested 12.000$ in crypto. By playing dumb moves it went down to 8.000, then I started to gamble with huge risk to get it back ending at 4.000$

At that point I divided half, half in ADA and XRP to just wait and get my money back. I need XRP to reach 8$ and ADA 4$ to get my investment back. Will this be possible for this year? Or will this even ever be possible?
