My POV - I am bullish on the US Strategic Reserve for two reasons, even if the US is not planning to buy new BTC.
1. After the US announces the reserve, other countries will follow.
2. It proves BTC’s scarcity, and at least the US government will lock and not sell the 200K BTC on hand for the next four years.
The price might not pump in the short term, but I am sure this is bullish news in the long term.
