At the beginning of this year, I decided to conduct an experiment, invest $100 in BNB and see how much I could earn from the growth of the coin and airdrops in a year. Two months have already passed and I want to share with you the result during this time. I will try to write every month and show what came of it.
Why exactly one hundred dollars? This is the minimum amount with which, in my opinion, a beginner can enter crypto in order to learn and not regret losing it.
Why BNB? Because this coin allows you to farm new coins with Launchpool and Airdrop. And over time, having one coin, you can accumulate many others. This coin is very reliable, and this is the main thing at the beginning, so as not to lose capital.
So, on January 1st, I deposited $100 and converted it to BNB, then a month later, in February, I added another $10 that I didn't know where to put it. In total, $110 worth of BNB was purchased, and I don't plan to buy any more BNB during the year.
Since the beginning of the year, in two months, Binance has held 5 airdrops for holders: Animecoin, Berachain, Solayer, Kaito and MyShell; 1 Launchpool - Red, and 1 Megadrop - Solv Protocol were also held (I did not perform additional tasks for Solv, but only held BNB, so I received few coins).
Now let's calculate how much we earned and how much we lost in these two months. To begin with, what happened to BNB? Since the market has been actively falling over the past week, BNB was no exception. My $110 turned into $95.54. It turns out minus $14.46. The cryptocurrency market is very volatile, so this is normal and there is no need to worry. Over time, I believe that everything will return and by the end of the year we will earn a little more.
What about our coins?
From airdrops I received:
Bera - 0.084 = 0.71 dollars
Kaito - 0.185 = 0.41 dollars
Solayer - 0.279 = $0.24
MyShell - 0.229 = $0.12
Anime - 4,128 = $0.10
З Launchpool:
Red - 0.264 = 0.21 dollars
З Megadrop:
Solv Protocol - 4.665 = $0.18
Total as of today, March 2, $1.97 was earned. Since all cryptocurrency has fallen now, we haven't earned much in 2 months, but I left all these coins and will sell them at the end of the year. Some may grow and give Xs, I was very pleasantly surprised by Bera and Kaito coins, I believe they will bring a few dollars on top.
