Binance’s Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng has recently met with Mr. Raymond Lam Cheuk Ho, Chief Superintendent of Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) of Hong Kong Police Force (HKPF), to discuss advancing bilateral cooperation against financial and cyber crimes related to virtual assets.

Cooperation That Makes a Difference

The two leaders exchanged views on a range of topics, including expanding and strengthening public-private collaboration on the cyber defense in the blockchain ecosystem, as well as enhancing the capacity of law enforcement agencies amid the increasing sophistication of threats and criminals’ technological savvy.   

During the event, Chief Superintendent Mr. Lam also presented a letter of appreciation and a plaque to Binance for our long-standing support and commitment to Hong Kong law enforcement agencies over the past few years. In the letter, Hong Kong Police Force commended Binance for significantly contributing to the solving of complex cases and safeguarding the integrity of the industry on a global scale.
