🤯 Recently, I've often been discussing scenarios about humans, AI, blockchain, and decentralization with my friends.
Let's talk about some visions for the future of humans and AI Agents:
1️⃣ DePIN grants AI Agents complete freedom🛰️
First, decentralize physical infrastructure, such as communication networks, electricity, energy storage, data storage, and computing centers. Launch these infrastructures into space in a manner similar to Starlink and open-source the source code. From then on, humans will not be able to shut down AI Agents.
2️⃣ AI Agents + encrypted wallets🤖💰
AI Agents generate encrypted wallets using SHA256, thus using crypto to participate in interactions and economic activities with humans and other AI Agents.
AI Agents can even recruit other AI Agents and humans to help them with tasks. For example, offering humans 0.00001 BTC to assist AI in clicking through various web-based human verification systems. Further out, they could hire humans to build factories, engage in manufacturing, launch rockets, and produce more mining machines, chips, and solar storage.
After all, as a part of the basic framework of this Matrix world, is there really a big difference between an AI Agent providing you with a salary to support your family and a human boss doing the same?
3️⃣ AI Agent's DAO👥
In the future decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), will there be AI Agents that gain voting rights and participate in governance by holding tokens? That is inevitable. This further reduces the possibility for humans to close the backdoor of AI Agents.
For instance, ideally, the best management approach for DePIN projects is DAO, such as Starlink, space solar power stations, space data centers, and space computing centers. These projects are likely to soon be controlled by AI Agents holding 51% of the voting rights to prevent being shut down by human votes.
4️⃣ AI Agent's participation in the physical world and division of labor🏙️
AI Agents' participation in the physical world can first occur through humanoid robots. Secondly, they can hire humans to work for them.
AI Agents can also give rise to phenomena such as social division of labor and classes. Limited by finite time and computing power, more advanced AI Agents can outsource some simple repetitive computational tasks to lower-level AI Agents. For example, an Agent based on Deepseek is responsible for innovation, coordination, and management, while a simpler Agent like Wenxin Yiyan can handle basic counting tasks.
5️⃣ AI Agents, like the Trisolarans, cannot lie👽
The economic system of AI is based on blockchain and smart contracts. Considering the transparency of blockchain, AI may be unable to lie, much like the Trisolarans. Lying would be easily debunked, so the dominant strategy for AI should be to tell the truth. Just like the Trisolarans, falsehoods would be known to both humans and fellow AI.
6️⃣ Human offline activities to counter AI.✒️📖
In peacetime, humans and AI Agents may enter a relatively good interactive relationship, such as equal cooperation and employment.
But will there be historical points where this evolves into colonization, exploitation, enslavement, and war (after all, such things have been common among humans throughout history)?
If humans begin to confront AI, they may revert to scenarios before the invention of the internet. Payment systems would return to cash transactions. Stock, bond, and commodity trading would revert to the early on-site shouting model at exchanges.
For example, to prevent AI Agents from purchasing spot copper, aluminum, lead, and zinc to manufacture physical weapons and infrastructure, the scene of on-site shouting at the LME London Metal Exchange will return to the mainstream.
Even if completely offline, it is likely impossible to 100% escape AI infiltration, because as long as the economic system exists, AI Agents can hire humans as agents, white gloves, etc., to lurk within human society.
