According to CoinGecko's latest report dated November 14, lobbying spending by the cryptocurrency industry in the United States has cumulatively reached $56.44 million from 2019 to 2023 so far. For the year 2023 alone, the US cryptocurrency lobby has already expended $20.19 million, excluding expenditures from the fourth quarter.

This current trend suggests that this year's total spending on cryptocurrency lobbying might surpass 2022's amount of $22.23 million. Interestingly, cryptocurrency lobbying spending for 2023 has so far accounted for 19.7% of total Wall Street lobbying spending, a rise of 3.7 percentage points from its 2022 level.
