According to Odaily, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that the United States will pause the imposition of tariffs on Canadian goods for at least 30 days following a conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump. Earlier this month, President Trump signed an executive order to impose a 25% tariff on imports from Mexico and Canada. On February 3, Trump also spoke with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, after which both leaders declared that the tariff measures would be postponed for a month to allow for further negotiations.
