Uzbekistan has opened its doors to Binance users
Residents of Uzbekistan can now officially use the services of Binance. The entire integration process has been completed, and now local users can conduct cryptocurrency transactions through a new service developed in partnership with Coinpay.uz. With the launch of this platform, residents of the country will be able to work with cryptocurrency, top up their accounts, and withdraw funds in the national currency through local banks and payment systems.
Earlier, in January 2024, Uzbekistan fined Binance for operating without a license. This served as a signal for the company, and since then the exchange has begun to take the requirements of local regulators seriously. It is important to note that now, to work with cryptocurrencies in the country, it is necessary to use only those exchanges that have licenses and conduct their operations through national payment systems. This rule came into effect at the beginning of 2023.
