Thought about $SOLV protocol from someone that is in AI/ Data Science / Computer Science fields. I'm usually very suspicious of any new technology launched in areas that are hyped, that is why I'm not a big investor in crypt. However, what caught my attention in this new protocol was its robustness, which gave me confidence to buy the coins and hold them for 1 to 3 years. Here are my criteria for having this confidence: 1. Open-source project, when we have access to the source code we can read it and check for ourselves what the vulnerabilities are and if there is any fraud scheme (there really isn't any as far as I saw on GitHub). 2. Audited with security assessments from recognized companies in the cyber security field (e.g., Salus, Certik, and Secbit); all audits are publicly available on GitHub (yes, u can just go and check by ur own). 3. The project is really innovating in the crypto area, bringing some key differences from their competitors (e.g., SAL abstraction layer). 4. Partnership with large companies (which logically want a return on their investment and I'm sure that is there no reason for they just burn money for nothing) that funded the research, such as Binance Labs. Finally, the co-founders have a relationship with Taiwan/Hong Kong/China. The last few years have shown how strong the Middle East research and market can be, even more now after the latest #DeepSeekImpac (also, open-source project). This reasoning makes me really believe in the solv protocol project for the long term.
