Pi Coin Founder Finally Announced: Mainnet Launch Date Announced!

Pi Network has finally announced the highly anticipated mainnet launch date.

Mobile mining-based Pi Network drew attention with a post on its official X account. The post included a statement made by Pi Network co-founder Nicolas Kokkalis on YouTube.

In the video in question, Nicolas Kokkalis officially announced that the date of Pi Network's transition to the mainnet will be the first quarter of 2025. Pi Coin, which has been on the test network for a long time and has not been able to switch to the main network, is expected to become suitable for both sale and listing on exchanges with the transition to the main network.

Co-founder Kokkalis made the following statements in the YouTube video:

"We have reached 18 million authenticated (KYC) users, and the date of Pi Coin's transition to the open network will be the first quarter of 2025. During this period, we will focus on completing the "migration" process of more users and making them eligible for the transition to the open network. In this way, we will close the gap between KYC users and migration users where possible. We always prioritize accessibility and inclusion. This will be the healthiest for the ecosystem
