Microsoft is considering whether to invest in Bitcoin, a topic that will be voted on at its shareholders meeting tomorrow, December 10.
However, according to the documents submitted at the time, Microsoft's board of directors had already stated that it recommended that shareholders vote against it, believing that the proposal was inappropriate.
The proposal comes from the conservative think tank National Center for Public Policy Research, which is a member of the advisory board of Project 2025. Microsoft said in the document that the company has evaluated Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as investment options, but feels that these investments are risky and do not fit into its current fund management strategy.
Microsoft also specifically mentioned that the volatility of cryptocurrencies is an important factor it considers. Nevertheless, the company said it will continue to pay attention to changes in the cryptocurrency market and make corresponding decisions based on the situation in the future.

Meanwhile, regarding whether Microsoft will support the proposal, Polymarket data predicts that there is only a 13% chance that shareholders will vote in favor, with $2.99 million already bet.
This data makes people wonder: Will Microsoft really change its mind?
