Suspected that Tellor's (TRB) X account was hacked
November 3 TRB It appears that Tellor's X account was hacked while broadcasting an airdrop announcement to users. However, the airdrop receiving website address is not the same as the project's official website. Tellor's (TRB) X account was hacked
After recording this information, BelnCrypto checked Tellor's X account which was believed to have been hacked. In the most recent tweet, there is still an announcement about the TRB token airdrop. According to this announcement, there appears to have been a successful TRB token airdrop worth 50,000 USD.
At 08:31 AM on November 3, 2023, there was another announcement about this airdrop.
Beincrypto Observing both of these announcements, we noticed a suspicious point. The project's homepage is located at the domain tellor.io. However, the page for users to receive the airdrop has the domain name tellor.co. The frontend interface of both sites is quite similar in both font and design style. This raises suspicions that Tellor's X account being hacked may be true. Currently, BelnCrypto has accessed the project's Discord account to find out information. However, previously in August 2023, this project also informed users that they did not have any airdrop strategy. If so, it is a form of scam and users should be careful. No related damages have been recorded yet. BelnCrypto will continue to update this issue in subsequent newsletters.
