The price of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin rose on exchanges by no less than 14% on Monday, exceeding $34,000 per Bitcoin.

The price of Bitcoin on the Binance cryptocurrency exchange reached $34,243 as of 1:43 a.m. Moscow time on Tuesday.

According to data from the CoinMarketCap platform, which calculates the average price based on prices on more than 20 exchanges, the price of Bitcoin was rising by 14.59%, and its average price reached $34,351 per Bitcoin.

The price of Bitcoin continues to rise after recording a weekly growth of 11.4% in the last week’s results, which is considered the largest weekly increase in the price of Bitcoin since last June, as the growth rate reached 15.1%.

Since the beginning of October, the price of Bitcoin has risen by 15.9%, after its price growth rate reached 4% last September following two months of decline.

Bitcoin price exceeded $34,000 for the first time since May 8, 2022.
