It often takes great determination and courage for a person to succeed.

In 2014, Zhao Changpeng decided to sell his property in Shanghai and invest all the 1.1 million yuan he received in Bitcoin $BTC . This decision seemed very bold at the time, because the housing prices in Shanghai subsequently doubled, while the price of Bitcoin fell to one-third of its original value. Although this investment did not immediately yield the expected returns, Zhao Changpeng began to gain fame in the field of cryptocurrency.

In March 2014, at an event, Zhao Changpeng met Xu Mingxing, the founder of the domestic Bitcoin exchange OKCoin. In June of the same year, he joined OKCoin as technical director and was responsible for the company's international affairs.

However, Zhao Changpeng's tenure at OKCoin did not last long, and he left OKCoin in less than a year.

In July 2017, Zhao Changpeng founded his own cryptocurrency exchange, Binance. Binance officially opened 11 days after raising $15 million through public fundraising. The platform quickly gained the favor of users and proved its popularity.
