According to Foresight News, OpenAI founder Sam Altman has revealed in an interview that ChatGPT has rapidly become one of the most widely used and influential products globally. Altman is now planning to make significant strides into consumer hardware, brain-computer interfaces, and social media sectors. He expressed interest in acquiring Chrome if the U.S. government forces Google to sell it.

Altman also discussed his ambition to raise trillions of dollars to build data centers, emphasizing the need for more GPUs to maintain scalability, which he considers a top priority. He stated, "You should expect OpenAI to spend trillions on data center construction in the near future. We must make difficult trade-offs now; we have better models, but we can't offer them due to insufficient computing power. We also want to provide other types of new products and services."

Furthermore, Altman confirmed recent reports that OpenAI plans to invest in a brain-computer interface startup to compete with Elon Musk's Neuralink. He remarked, "I think neural interfaces are a cool idea worth exploring. I hope that whatever I think, ChatGPT can respond."
