According to PANews, Nancy Jones, widow of the late American country singer George Jones, has reportedly lost approximately $17 million in a cryptocurrency scam involving XRP. The incident occurred in Tennessee, where Nancy's former boyfriend, Kirk West, allegedly exploited his access to her property to steal over $400,000 in cash and a Ledger wallet containing more than 5.5 million XRP tokens. While some of the stolen assets have been recovered, approximately $1.5 million worth of cryptocurrency remains missing.
