According to ChainCatcher, David A. Meier, an economist at Baosheng Group, stated that due to unstable policy-making and increased fiscal pressure, the dollar is likely to continue its downward trend.

Since peaking in September 2022, the dollar has depreciated by approximately 15%. Recent U.S. policy-making has further impacted the currency value and extended the bear market.

It remains inconclusive whether the dollar's safe-haven characteristics are under threat, as the dollar often weakens when the U.S. becomes a source of risk aversion. If policy instability subsides, market confidence in the dollar will be restored.
