According to PANews, BNB Chain has announced the full integration of Fast Finality into its mainnet, significantly reducing the final confirmation time for user transactions to under four seconds, requiring only five block confirmations instead of the previous fifteen. This upgrade enhances the settlement speed for DeFi, NFT, and GameFi by over 83%, with network security ensured by the consensus of more than 66% of validators. Fast Finality is also expected to facilitate near-instant deposit and withdrawal experiences on centralized exchanges. Further technical details are available in the official GitHub documentation.
