According to PANews, Lido DAO has released the 'Auxiliary Proposer Mechanism' (APM) framework, aimed at helping node operators securely adopt new tools for building Ethereum blocks, such as Proposer-Builder Separation (PBS) and pre-confirmation mechanisms.
The APM framework is divided into three layers: mechanisms (like PBS), protocols (like MEV-Boost), and auxiliary tools (like Commit-Boost). Lido proposes to establish an APM committee responsible for evaluating, approving, and maintaining the list of available APMs.
The proposal has been submitted to the Lido governance forum, and community voting is about to start.
