According to reports, in the SEC versus Ripple Labs case, Judge Analisa Torres rejected the parties' requests for a declaratory judgment. The judge found that the requests essentially sought to vacate certain injunction and penalty provisions in the final judgment.
The court ruled that the request should be governed by Federal Civil Procedure Rule 60, rather than 62.1. Since both parties failed to meet the requirements of Rule 60, the court deemed the request procedurally improper and dismissed it.
