According to ChainCatcher, Citibank has partnered with the digital asset department of Switzerland's major securities trading platform, SIX Digital Exchange (SDX), to tokenize privately held shares.
Citibank will act as the custodian and issuance agent, providing tokenized versions of late-stage, unlisted company equity on the regulated blockchain platform central securities depository (CSD) platform of SDX.
