According to Odaily Planet Daily, BlackRock, the world's largest asset management company, has seen its tokenized money market fund BUIDL achieve an investment scale of approximately $2.7 billion in the Ethereum ecosystem, accounting for 92% of its total assets.

The fund was launched in March 2024, with its asset size rapidly growing from an initial $667 million to its current $2.7 billion. BUIDL provides institutional investors with investment opportunities in liquid assets such as U.S. Treasury bonds and repurchase agreements, with each BUIDL token pegged to the U.S. dollar at a 1:1 ratio.

In addition to Ethereum, BlackRock has also expanded BUIDL to seven blockchain networks including Solana, Aptos, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Optimism, and Polygon for better efficiency and scalability.
