During the breach, unauthorized parties posted messages containing contract addresses, sent direct messages, and followed unknown accounts. TRON DAO emphasized that it never shares contract addresses or sends unsolicited direct messages. Users who received messages from the X account on May 2 are advised to delete them and consider them as actions by the attacker.
TRON DAO further explained that a team member was targeted in a malicious social engineering attack, leading to the account's misuse. Even after the perpetrator was logged out and access was restored, they continued to contact others and post from the main account in exchange for compensation. The incident is under active investigation, and TRON DAO has contacted law enforcement to take swift action against those responsible.
