According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on April 28, BitGo announced that its Dubai subsidiary, BitGo Custody MENA FZE, has obtained an operating license for virtual asset service providers (VASP) issued by the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA).

This license allows BitGo to provide virtual asset custody and staking services for institutions and qualified investors in the UAE, including cold storage custody services. BitGo previously received preliminary approval in January 2025.

Currently, the total value of assets staked by BitGo reaches 48 billion USD.
