According to Foresight News, Anchorage Digital has announced an expansion of its partnership with BlackRock to provide digital asset custody services. Anchorage Digital Bank N.A. has been designated as an additional custodian qualified to support BlackRock's spot cryptocurrency ETPs and other funds offering cryptocurrency investment opportunities. As of April 3, 2025, BlackRock is the world's largest issuer of spot cryptocurrency ETPs, managing assets worth $50 billion.
Currently, Anchorage Digital supports BlackRock's USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL). BlackRock can now access digital asset custody, staking, settlement, and on-chain governance services through Anchorage Digital Bank.
