According to PANews, U.S. authorities have dismissed charges against Nader Al-Naji, the founder of the decentralized social network BitClout. Court documents reveal that last year, the federal government accused Al-Naji of wire fraud, alleging he defrauded investors of $3 million through his cryptocurrency project. The U.S. Department of Justice had claimed that Al-Naji obtained millions through deceit and used the funds for personal luxury, distributing money to family and friends.
