Previously, on June 9, 2024, Loopring, an Ethereum Layer 2 protocol, announced on social media that its smart wallets had been attacked. The breach specifically targeted wallets with only one Guardian, particularly those using Loopring's official Guardian. The hacker initiated the recovery process, impersonating wallet owners to reset ownership and extract assets.
