According to PANews, the Android version of Telegram 11.8 Beta has introduced several new features related to Star Coins, including paid messages, Star Coin withdrawals, and purchasing Premium with Star Coins. These features are currently available only on the test server.
Premium users can set a fee for private messages through the settings under Privacy and Security, with an option to add exceptions for free. Senders are required to pay with Star Coins, and the platform takes a 15% commission.
A new button for Star Coin withdrawals has been added, although this feature is not yet operational.
Users can purchase Premium subscriptions using Star Coins, with options for 3 months (1000 Star Coins), 6 months (1500 Star Coins), and 1 year (2500 Star Coins). Additionally, gifts can be pinned to the user's profile page.
It is important to note that these features are still in the testing phase and have not been officially launched.
