Binance Futures has announced adjustments to the leverage and margin tiers for three USDⓈ-M perpetual contracts: SANDUSDT, EIGENUSDT, and OMUSDT. These changes take effect on February 26, 2025, at 10:30 UTC and will impact existing positions, requiring traders to adjust accordingly.
Leverage & Margin Adjustments:
SANDUSDT (USDⓈ-M Perpetual Contract)
Maximum leverage remains at 75x for smaller positions.
Position thresholds have been adjusted for lower leverage tiers.
Notable Change: The 5x leverage tier now applies to positions up to 4,000,000 USDT, down from 6,000,000 USDT previously.
EIGENUSDT (USDⓈ-M Perpetual Contract)
Leverage caps remain at 75x for positions under 10,000 USDT.
The highest position tier (1x leverage) is now limited to 5,000,000 USDT, down from 30,000,000 USDT previously.
OMUSDT (USDⓈ-M Perpetual Contract)
5x leverage is now capped at 400,000 USDT instead of 500,000 USDT.
1x leverage now applies to positions over 2,000,000 USDT, down from 2,200,000 USDT.
