According to BlockBeats, on February 18, following the release of the latest AI model Grok 3 by Elon Musk's AI company xAI, X significantly raised the price of its top-tier Premium+ subscription plan. The updated pricing now stands at nearly $50 per month.

The support page for X's premium subscription plans lists the U.S. Premium+ monthly subscription price as $50, with an annual price of $350. This marks the second price increase for the Premium+ plan in recent months. In December 2024, the company raised the subscription fee from $16 to $22 per month.

At the current rates, the new plan costs more than double what Premium+ users were previously paying. Some features of Grok 3 have been placed in a separate SuperGrok plan, accessible through the Grok application.

As a result, only features like "deep search" and "reasoning" will be available to Premium+ plan users. It is noteworthy that X's pricing appears inconsistent: while attempting to register for the Premium+ plan, X displays a monthly fee of $39.83 (or $477.95 annually), but the final checkout page shows an annual fee of $395.
